Rolex Air-King

This is the Rolex Air-King ref. 5500 from 1982. It's a 34mm steel case with a smooth bezel and a black dial with the warm tritium markers - class you can't buy new. No date, no fluting, no complication. This is Rolex stripped to what it does best, and the 5500 ran for thirty-odd years because they got it right the first time. This particular example is in very good preowned condition. It's been recently refinished and freshly serviced. The bracelet is tight and is ready to be worn for another lifetime or more. Acrylic crystal has some age marks / wear. Serial dates the watch to 1982 and the bracelet is original - clasp code matches. Bracelet fits 7.5-7.75in wrist.
